Apparently, Jaguar got highly miffed when Tom Walkinshaw brought out the XJR-9 at the same time as the launch of the XJ220 :shock:

Personally, I lean towards the XJR-9, maybe it's the colour.

Agreed. The color does the 220 no favors but I till like the XJR on looks alone.

I'm confused. Did you mean XJR-15 David? Or have I completely missed something? :shock:

I was never quite sold on the XJ220 shape, and the additions and colour do it no favours.

Yes, Dave, I did mean the XJR-15 which was based on the XJR9.

This was a very flexible chassis it seems.

I believe, after a little research that it came back to LeMans in 96 and 97 as the winner, after a rebuild
by the Aforementioned TWR. From Jaguar to Porsche WSC! ;)
