Irish newbie checking in

Postby Peespeed » Wed May 20, 2015 8:02 am

Hi folks, 1/43 rally car collector who has branched out a wee bit and starting to increase my Touring Car collection. Current collection is running at about 250 rally cars with a few more on the way from Poland, the touring cars are in single figures at the moment but have a few more on the way from a member on here (Lesopc) and I spotted a few new additions to ebay last night with low starting prices so there might be more on the way before the week is out. Vauxhall is the more favoured BTCC marque with John Cleland being the idol so that's where the main focus is. As for rally cars it's a varied choice with 6R4s being favourite along with E30 M3s and Escorts

Welcome to the forum.
Andy

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

Welcome. An Irishman collecting models of a Scotsman seemed a little unusual at first, but then I struggled to think of an Irish touring car driver. Are there any ?

What about Colin Turkington, the most successful driver. ;)
