All the way from Brazil

Postby Serafa » Wed Jul 29, 2015 10:22 pm

Hi guys,

I'm Bruno and I discovered this forum only this week, even though I started my collection a year ago.

Basically, I collect 1:43 racing car models comprehending historical cars and iconic cars from the most important motorsport categories all around the globe (Formula 1, Le Mans, Rally, GT cars).

My passion started when I was very young, going to Interlagos circuit and watching Ayrton Senna wining many races. I have pictures of myself in Interlagos since I was 5 years old.

Hope to share and learn a lot with you, who have similar interests with me!

Thanks for the welcome!

Cheers.

Welcome to the forum Bruno
Andy

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

Welcome Bruno

You're very luck to live near Interlagos. Not only have they had some great F1 races, but you've had the FIA GT and even the German DTM/ITC back in 1996 (though maybe you were too young for that). I'll be following your colection thread with interest.

For now, I only collect 1:43 cars, but I have just started a new collection of 1:18 Indy cars built by Carousel, but they are from the 70's and 80's.

I still don't have a display, so I didn't show anyone yet.

I'll welcome you again properly Bruno. I think you'll find this forum to be a great place to spend time even if you don't buy models regularly.

Thanks! Are you an Iron Maiden fan? I have their entire discography!

Actually I buy regularly. My collection is very recent and it keeps growing. It's an addiction.

And there is a lot to see here, I've been looking at many threads since I registered myself.

Thanks for the welcome! ;)

Yeah, I already have the Dan Gurney's AAR Eagle from 1974! Very similar to this one.

I'm looking for the 1972 Mark Donohue's McLaren M16B. If you hear about it, please let me know!

I'm also hunting the Gordon Johncock's STP March from 1984 at the right price!

Sorry, out of my collection focus. Not really my taste, at least for now.

Spark makes 1:43 Indy 500 winners. You may want to switch to them before you run out of room with the 1:18 models.

More detailed? The carousel 1's are not exactly Exoto's. You should check out the Sparks, they are very well done
