Thanks Julio :)

Now another two car F1 set, and an example to me that patience is required in this hobby, otherwise i wouldn't have ended up with 5 slight variations of the same car. However this is a very nice set and i can always sell the spares i've now accumulated

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

All the world's roads have potholes. We also have pothumps. This is where the local council drops a slightly too large dollop of tarmac into the hole and then lets passing traffic finish the job.

Just looking at the detail of the wing supports and the transaxle shows the kind of work that Spark is doing.
Great stuff!

Cheers Gents. Detail is fantastic on this model and the etched metal wing, radiator and exhaust supports are the icing on a particularly nice cake. These 70s & 80s F1 cars from Saprk really are something special.

Next up is one I have had on the periphery of my wish list until that is the recent spate of 'offers' on some of the older AA models and it was hard to resist. As racing cars go this is fairly sizeable.

Hans Heyer seems to be the missing name. It seems like the real car also has a blank though, so not just a licensing issue. Can anyone fill in the details?

I've had that Mercedes for a bit and you're right, it is very big for a 1/43. When I first got it, I thought that AA had screwed up and somehow made a 1/32 model. It's one my favs! Although the interior leaves a bit to be desired!

Possibly a contractual issue at the race. Perhaps he was contracted to BMW or Porsche :?

Two more that I would happily take off your hands

Is this Gallardo any cheaper or easier to obtain than the MC ones? How does it compare for quality.

Audi is a good'un. Don't know squat about Trans Am, but from what I've seen it's produced some outstanding looking cars.

I wonder if the JGTC is the only place a Lamborghini Gallardo competes on equal terms with a Toyota Corolla?

Thanks Dave :)

Re - Gallardo - they were all over ebay for a while at 20 quid but now its about 40 quid and i suspect that this is a Spark in an Ebbro box just like the Minichamps Evolutions and i think that this one is a little bit better finished but allof them are excellent.

The only other possibility that comes to mind is the Adac 24 hour at Nurburgring - many different classes makes much better spectating. The Grand Prix today demonstrated that

Andy, Glad to see you finally took the plunge with the 'Lambo. Think that it's one of Sparks', er.. Ebbros' best. BTW, your pictures really do the model justice. Fantastic!!
