It'll join my diecast metal Ferraris when it is at the right price.

The detailing looks excellent but some elements of the body look a little soft, lacking some of the crispness of the BBR/LS versions. Still, its' a car I don't like enough to fork out handbuilt prices for and I guess the Elite will look better when reduced to 1:43 size so I might well end up getting this version (unless a BBR/LS turns up cheap on Ebay :?) .

I have to say I think it looks terrible for an Elite. The paint looks far too thick which takes away the definition of the edges. If it was a Matchbox car then yeah it'd look OK. A massive fail for me I'm afraid.

It is a pre-production model so ofcourse it is not perfect. Sorry for saying this but I think you are a very negative person!!

I'm not negative as I'm just putting my opinion out there. That would be like me saying your a Ferrari fanboy because you said it's very good. If it's a pre-production model then surely that's when you'd want it to look the best as more people will be seeing it when Mattel show it off at the toy fairs.

If I see something bad I'm gonna point it out and if I see something great I'll point that out as well.

I might wait and see the Kyosho version first, before deciding to get this one or the Kyosho.

Gosh! did I say red was boring? Why, it's my favourite colour for Ferraris... and Lime green is my favourite for Lamborghinis.

Someone posted at Knightrideronline.com that the HW Super Elite Knight Rider KITT model with lights and talking electronics is canceled and according to the posted link it seems so.
Still, to verify, does anyone know if it's true as I don't see any mention of cancelling in Hotwheels Elite website?
http://www.hotwheels-elite.com/model-ca ... ousand.php

The post at KRO:
http://knightrideronline.com/forum/view ... 83#p212483

And the link to the vendor who claims it's cancelled:
http://www.supercar1.com/catalog/index. ... ts_id=6302

This model has been years in the making, have seen prototypes and it would be very desirable model for a Knight Rider fan so it would be real shame if it indeed is canceled :(
