They could have modeled so many great Cadillacs that haven't been done yet and they waste time modeling that thing!

I always thought this was the last of the archaic Cadillacs. So I think it is a good one to model :)

I agree with both Marcel and Julio on this one.

I too view it as the last 'traditional' Cadillac but it really is sort of ungainly in any scale. This one seems a mess in terms of the NEO's treatment. Headlights look wrong, rims toyish, I really don't know what to think? I do love to collect 1:43 Cadillacs but this one would have to be at a fire sale price

They should have put white wall tires on this Fleetwood Brougham. It makes a huge difference to the appearance of the model. I did this conversion to my white Fleetwood some time ago:

Talking about Cadillacs, I remembered seeing a silver Cadillac Allante by NEO shown at the Nuremburg Toy Fair a couple of years ago. Why wasn't that released at all?

Nice work Adam! Your tire changes makes a marked improvement! Perhaps the white bodywork/top help the situation too?

An Allante is far overdue - it would make an excellent subject for BoS, and like the Cimarron and others, I'm hopeful it will happen soon enough? An Austrian maker did one about 10 years ago that was big money and really awful - don't get me started on the maker of the car, absolute crook

Your detail upgrades and always inspiring and successful :)

I did see the model of the Neo Alante a few years ago on a modelcar fair. Not in silver, but another colour. I didn't buy it because of the colour, assumed it would be available soon. I probably should have bought it, maybe it was a pre production version. Always regretted not buying it...

Great, important model, but I am not sure I can part with 90 € so easily (I did with Matrix or Minichamps though), but NEO for me is not a top manufacturer.. :?
On my wishlist for sure, but will wait. Anyone is getting it?

But a minichamps is worth that money? I doubt it... Don't forget the people behind matrix and glm are the same who started Neo. I still don't understand why Matrix prices are acceptable. Or do we really want to pay much more for the same model when it is delivered in rediculously large or luxurious boxes?

i think is just that the others started at 50-55 while matrix and glm at 90-100. it is harder to pay a raise than a price from the begining and no, neither the minichamps nor the matrix are worth the price asked, hence i stopped getting any....i will enjoy what i could afford and thas it for me.

Last week I found Neo's beautiful Packard 110 Station Wagon for 60.00 Euros - that's OK for me.
But I surely won't pay 100.00 Euros roughly for a Matrix Duesenberg, build quality of the examples I have seen didn't justify that price.

I have never ever justified the overpriced MC resin editions (in some cases I may understand that the increase is due to higher roaylty fees or harder investigation work like some of the dream cars), but in the end they are milking avid collectors. I also noticed that overall quality is good but there are some very poor details for this price range (but I accept them as they are the most accurate renditions of unique models - yes there are alernatives for almost all models they've made in these ranges).

In the case of Neo I agree with Johnny_Bravo, it is not good to see such a jump in price specially for a model that visually does not appear so special (black paint and some chrome parts?) OK, royalties, licenses, modelling process... the problem with NEO is that most of their models have some mistakes (not to mention some that are horribly shaped, talking about road cars), and some of them are just unforgiveable (like Alfa Canguro (one off!!!) and its missing side mirror, Porsche Panamericana (one off) and the rear bumper design mistake).. The Maserati Boomerang (the mistakes we've discussed in Marcellix collection thread)..

After posting my comment I double-thought about it and yes, I will get the Y-Job at the asking price, I just only hope it is all correct, otherwise I will feel disappointed with their models (again).

Edit: talking about Matrix (dont have any GLM and at the moment no plans of getting one), I haven't had any flaws on my models, and I like them as I got a feeling that I do not overpay 50% for the quality and "feel" when I have the model in hand.

...and i have seen the 120 euro GLM's duessey rollston in hand....must say i was not impressed and happy somehow i didn't make the effort to get one: quality build is regular 52 euros spark, model indeed beautiful, but no way no how 120 euro beautiful. so....it is not the quality they want us to pay for but the novelty and rarity of the model...which i will not. still won't consider paying the new prices of neo (since i see every week more and more of the older ones down to 38 euro or lower) and since we are here, i don't see minichamps doing so good if they keep these price tags too long. Or may be people have more money than i thought to support their greed.....

I am so happy for you Keko (being Spanish and buying the well crafted models of Pegaso at last)

If the producers go with this speed I hope Turkish cars will be produced

ABC Brianza produced Anadol (Ford engined, Reliant designed Turkish car) for a wealthy guy who owns and races one at Pekin-Paris rally. But they do not sell commercially(I asked and got "no" feedback from company)

With partworks series appearing like they do, it's only a matter of time until someone makes an Anadol model...

Murat, in a PW Taxi series by Altaya they sold a Tofas Murat (Fiat 131) as Istanbul Taxi...

Tom: I hope...

Keko: A guy who owned a diecast shop commissioned a plenty of Murat 124 to Ist models I guess and they sold it through their shop. Now sadly the shop is bankrupt

I do not regard Murat series as a Turkish car but "Anadol" and "Devrim" are :)
