Yes. Me too! Is it 1:43 or 1:18 though? If it's 1:43 it'll be an exception to my no resin rule....

I try to indicate which models are not 1:43 when there are multiple scales in the same image.

I hope the model shown on the left is not representative of the final car All the pictures I have of the '64 Le Mans car show a much lighter, metallic shade of blue, with thinner stripes and unpainted alloy wheels. That's just the basics, before you compare the actual shape.

Did someone send TSM a copy of the 1995 Minichamps catalogue ? I wish they'd stop recycling old models and come up with something new.

Maybe they don't like Ellen Lohr as both cars have Rosberg on them

I've just read on the TSM site that they're going into partnership with Ford 'to produce various scale models of the new ford GT and the Ford GT Le Mans race car'. I love the new GT which, unlike the previous reincarnation, doesn't simply copy the original but uses its design as the basis for a 're-imagining'

Been looking forward to these for a long time.

Looks great but unfortunately it's almost the same color as the Asterion. Regardless, multiple color varieties will be coming to my collection, I like it a lot.

I want a model of the new GT too; but TSM has announced releases YEARS ago that have yet to reach production.

Seeing the rear end doesn't help it in the looks department  I have to say I thought it would grow on me after a while, but it's not happened yet and I doubt it ever will.
