Amen! Lancers, Violets, and some non-Safari Corollas should be a non-brainer I would think.

Make a couple of suggestions on their facebook page. Or I could if you don't do Facebook, list/link to pictures of a few cars and I'll see if they are interested.

The roof on that 510 Bluebird coupe looked all wrong to me. So I went to the web and found two pictures of 1971 coupes, and they have different roof profiles. You can see it in the kickup in the back window. That little emblem behind the door, does that indicate a special model? The yellow car and the model both have it and they also share the roofline.

Very nice R31's! But yes they need to sort out those tail light lenses, looks a bit off...

Also the 510 coupe looks spot on to me, I don't know where you got that red one Baxter, never seen one with that profile before...

Looks like the emblem behind the door says 'Coupe'.

Nice stuff, but way beyond what I can afford. Would love to see a couple of showroom standard versions too- not lowered, and with regular wheels.

Couldn't agree more with you Tom. But on the other hand: these pimped versions prevent me from really wanting an ignition model. Because they look soooo great in detailing. I would have to buy some sort of Fairlady if it was in a normal, civilised version ;)

If all those 1/18's were 1/43's and if I had a couple of G's to spend, I'd get them all. I like 'em low to the ground.

Therein lies the rub. I would love for Ignition to make these models. I would hate myself for paying so much for the model.

Looking at those two, the top one is a coupe, the bottom a 2-door saloon/sedan

At least, that's what Ebbro call the latter

I guess my point is that in 46 years of being a fan and former owner of Datsun 510s, I've never heard of a Bluebird Coupe. It definitely was never sold in the USA.

BOOM!! Colour samples up of the Celica 1600GTV. I've got a white one and black one on pre-order, but I really want a blue one too!! But red, green, white, and blue have sold out on pre-orders (but we'll have to wait and see when they arrive). Due October. There are still pre-orders available for the yellow (IG0374) and black (IG0373) versions

Nothing to do with Ignition Model, but official Hayashi Street version rims in 1/5 scale were recently released by Hayashi Racing http://www.hayashiracing.com/gree/ (scroll down), and can be ordered from there (i'm not sure about posting overseas). Looks like Y12,500 per wheel. They do look pretty good!

LOOOOOK!!! Actually they have recalled this one as there was some sort of mix up with numbering on the roof, I'm not sure if the number is meant to be there or not.

Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly can you do with a 1/5 wheel. Its too big to put on your models and too small to use as a coffee table. Does it just become a fancy paperweight (which in a paperless society is also redundant) ?

Gee, did they start using mobiles to photograph their models? That's terrible and I hope it wasn't posted by the factory but I do want/need this red one.

This is where I disagree with the ability to pre-order. If you've sold out of one color before release then make more of them. Either increase production or cut back on the colors that don't have as many orders coming in. There should be enough of each so that you can still buy one two months after release. These are not Faberge eggs, your company's release is not special, and there is no reason not to sell as many as you can. Others have released the Celica in the past and others will release it in the future.
