200 Euros is pretty cheap for a scratch built model.

I agree, its not outrageous considering all the work required but the fly in the ointment is i) i dont have eur1,400 going spare at the moment and ii) im not sure the wife and kiddies would consider this the best use of eur1,400

Thanks Steve. The Khan one I've had a long while from a contact in Germany, only makes a few sheets at a time, the Nuttall one is a mishmash of other decals I had. There are some decals left for the Primera's so it may be possible in the future to make one for you...although they aren't cheap!!
JSB33 wrote:Really enjoyed the Cortina set and seeing your collection on your Dio always ups my interest.
Thanks Jeff, I really like the old cars as well. The Dio was made for me by Matt, adds a nice touch to the photo.
Tom wrote:Like those Primeras a lot.
Took 6 months from start of the project to the end product but worth it in the end.
vx1054 wrote:Some great additions Chris. The Nutall Cavalier is next on my to do list.
Better get cracking than Dave!! lol Haven't seen any of your additions recently ;)
carcollector wrote:That Ford Escort looks stunning ;)
Thanks, quite any easy conversion in the end and I was lucky that I had all the decals I needed in my spares box.
reeft1 wrote:Did you lower the Trofeu Broadspeed Escorts? They look a lower ride height than standard?
Excellent conversions. I have 5 planned myself from the 60s/70s, but the nemesis on my Ford in BTCC collection is that nobody has made the more recent cars. I've found a company that would scratch build them but they want EUR200 a pop as one offs. That's a lot of money per car, although for scratchbuilds with all the aero needing custom shaping its not an outrageous ask by the firm in question, but I can't justify it.
No the ride height hasn't changed, just took off some decals add added others. What have you got planned?? Just not enough modern cars made for any manufacturer!!

I'd made the 71 Birrell model with left over decals from a Trofeu base.

If you make any of the other (and your willing) then I'd be happy to purchase decals of any of the other model! ;)

About time I did another update, and quite a large one this time!!!

The first 2 are BMW's

1991 Armin Hahne in the BMW M3 E30 (This was originally my Harvey car but I've changed it to the 3rd Driver)

I really like the Newsham Vectra. I don't supose anyone has produced the 2011 Jordon Pirtek racing Vectra? One of my favourite liveries on the Vectra.

Excellent work! Where do you get the white window letterings done? Do you have an ALPS printer?

You've been busy with the Cavaliers and they all look very good. As for the Vectra, it looks stunning and I wish I hadn't seen it as I would love that in my collection, but I can't afford to pay the money DS models ask for them

Outstanding, love the cavaliers 8-)
I'm not addicted to models, an addict admits their problems & I don't have a problem.
