Some of you know who he is but i can't say anymore, he doesn't like anyone passing on his info and i for one would like to stay in his good books.

I did ask on behalf of Chris but never got a response to that particular question. He doesn't do requests either, only the models he wants.

It is a real shame because:-

1/ He could make good money for the decals he does do.
2/ He's decals look top notch.
3/ He would have several takers too.

Never mind though, i'm sure there will be another way. I just need to get the right PC programs and materials and practice myself until i get to grips with it as it is not as easy as it looks. Just never seem to get round to it.

:( :( :( :( :(

Thanks anyway JP.

It's true, it is a shame but i doubt he does it for the money. He tends to make very small quantities so that way the value of the model is very high. If he made loads and sold them they wouldn't be so rare. I know for a few he only made 2-3 sheets.

Like on my completed 2008 BTCC Vectra 50 years celebration car as well :)

Anyway good luck.

I was just looking at our past posts. I guess this is the same German fella who helped you with your 2007 Vectra's too (Chilton #7, Menu #88 and Neal test #4)??????
Also spotted your 50th year BTCC Vectra as mentioned too.

Like i said, i will try to start then perfect my own decals at some stage.

You need to add that one to your list ;)

Unless you only collect cars which actually raced?

The latter is the case for my collection, only cars actually raced, but i might diversify???
Trouble is, getting the decal sets.

What even the 2007 #4 Neal test car, that never raced :P

As i said, good luck finding the decals you want. I wish i was clever enough to be able to think about making my own decals. If you ever do i have a few sheets which i need copying so give me a bell.

This one would also be on the more diverse list, but for now i'm sticking with raced cars only. As you will see if you check out my GM worldwide wishlist post. Even the vast majority of these will never be officially made/released and there are no base models or decals for most to be converted from anything else. A real shame.

If you ever need the correct gold spray paint for the 2008 Vectra show car let me know as i have about 3/4 of a can left with no use for it.

Finally got round to this conversion, have had the decals sitting around waiting for a donor model.

Would be nice to get a small sticker to put over the 'Warwick' name on the plastic plinth.

Although the print on the Onyx base is very tidy, maybe you could try my method of getting around this problem???

Easy, just print it on a white decal sheet?

Conversion looks good, but shouldn't the Sun Strip be all black instead of having the red bits?

I think you'll find it had the red bits on the windshield! Slightly smaller but it had them.

I'll see what I can do about the plinth.

During the race it did not have the red bits!

During Qualifying Figueiredo had red bits and Warwick had yellow! Figueiredo's had gone come raceday.
Ironically, Derek Warwick normally ran the red ends while Cleland had none.

Just been checking and I am now totally confused??

It seems that JC ran with a black sunstrip all season when he raced.

Warwick however didn't.

He started at testing at Brands with red ends. He continued with these for Thruxton and then Donington. At Brands Hatch they changed to yellow. They stayed yellow for Oulton Park and then the second trip to Donington. For some reason it went back to red for the Snetterton round. The second race meetings back at Thruxton and Brands Hatch it returned to yellow. And on it's then finished off the seasons last two rounds at Oulton Park and Silverstone in red!

Confused? I am! Don't ask me about Knockhill, I don't have any pictures from that year.

These teams don't give us a thought when doing these countless changes :D

My original plan was to chop these red 'ends' down which I think I still will and keep all 3 cars different instead of having it all black like Clelands. At least mine will be unique but still correct ;)

Another thing that sprang to mind!

In testing at the second Thruxton meeting.. As I said before, Figueiredo had red ends and Warwick had yellow. As Cleland had none, could they have used THREE cars during the season?? As Figueiredo stood in for Cleland, if he used Cleland's car why didn't he have no colour to his his visor???

Have recently acquired a couple of display cases thanks to Andy.

Will primarily be used for my kit builds. As i can fit in 14 in each case i should have my work cut out filling them up.

Might fit a mirror in the back at some point as well.

Thanks guys.

I have now setup a twitter page which will feature updates. Have started tweeting a few drivers pictures of my models, lets see if they like them :)
