Thanks, I like it, it is my first Neo touring car and I am impressed.

The overall quality looks excellent.

It's a shame Neo's are so expensive but it seems to be the way all models are going, most 1/43's seem to be over the £50 mark now.

Did you covert this one yourself Dave or is it a special run from a manufacturers? It does look very cool.

Steve

It's a corgi under the name of detail model brand. They don't come up that often and are usually listed in correctly as a 1974 car.

Steve, Chris is right with his explanation. I picked it up for under £10.

Chris, I never knew it was Corgi though, I presumed it was another company that had folded years ago.

A quick update with some new models added to my collections.

Big thanks to Chris for spraying the Cavalier for me, and helping me out with some Shell decals too!

Also managed to sort a few problems with my 1994 BTCC Peugeot 405:

Both are looking pretty good. I wonder how many of the Corgi Cavaliers have been converted into another version?

Thanks for the positive comments.

I would imagine quite a few have been converted so far, means the originals are even more limited edition now.

That's very smart looking. I remember seeing Matt Neal rolling the white Mazda Xedos in 1994, but don't remember seeing this purple version. Did that come before or after Neal's car ?

Thanks. From memory in 1993 Mazda ran a one car team for Patrick Watts (as pictured), and in 1994 they expanded to a 2 car team for Matt Neal and David Leslie, Neal rolling the car at Silverstone did not return that season and David Leslie continued until the Grand Prix support race when the team folded.

Another great addition to a great thread.
I like the way that such a variety of drivers and manufacturers are being added - good work!

Both of the latest car look very good Dave. The Mazda looks like a lot of work went into it. Did you make them from kits or did you buy them pre-built?

Thanks for the comments, it is getting harder to add car to my collection now as the models I want are rarer.

Steve, it is a pro-built one again, have some kits to make so will give them a go when I am good enough.

That's very tidy - and shiny

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

I would be interested to see what you will do to 'convert' it to a 95 car with amount of differences there are between the two cars?
