Both the Bugatti and the Alfa are excellent additions. Like them both a lot

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

At first glance it seemed an unusual colour combination for a 30's Alfa Romeo, but I discovered this was the colour scheme of an 6C sold at auction by RM Auctions in August 2011. I'm guessing this where Minichamps took their inspiration from :

There is a black with blue interior 1:1 Chiron in the newly opened H R Owen Bugatti London Showroom, Bruton Street W.1. It goes back to the factory soon. They also had three Amalgam Models - presumably 1:12 scale for GBP6,500 each. Chiron, Veyron, Atlantic in display cases.

Unlike you to purchase a car a) built post 1960s and b) without i) wire wheels or ii) the need for wire wheels?

Cant decide if i like the real Bugatti? Never a fan of the Veyron (even despite the technology required to build a 250mph car). Its no looker and this isnt much of an improvement. Lovely model tho.

Not a fan of the modern Bugatti's looks, but this model is tempting! Sweet!

My recent buys do give that impression but look further back in this thread and you will see lots of modern cars too!
But you are right though, I do prefer the wire wheel era! 8-)

You may be interested to know that unlike Veyron which had unique tyres for the car, Chiron's tyres are common (if that's the right word) to more than just one make. Apparently there won't be a convertible version. The colourway on the LS model is that of the 2015 Geneva Show car.
