Automobili Lamborghini Collection

Post by reeft1 » Sat Sep 13, 2014 5:56 am

This is my Lamborghini Collection. The information that follows is a shameless lift from Wikipedia, which I've used as my sole reference on this amazing marque but I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t 100% accurate.

The following is a representative collection of all the types of cars manufactured by Lamborghini, listed in chronological order. I have only 1 example of each model of car shown; I don’t have all the sub-models (e.g. limited edition variants, roadsters, etc.)

Very nice collection, I have a 350GT, Countach and Miura so far - Also need to find 1/43s of the concept cars they built -

I have replaced the LM002 and Huracan with a pair of Whitebox models - the LM002 as i didn't really like the "sand" colour of the original, the Huracan as the Whitebox was a lot better quality and relatively little extra expense than the Burago.

have you tried the lamborghini concepts by leo models aka white box? they are part of the history and they are great value for the money.

So nearly 2 years since my last Lambo post. If you are easily offended, please look away now. It's a bburago. I hate this manufacturer with a passion, but until someone produces a fair value Centenario, this will have to tide me over. It's the Forza 3 version so somewhat more detailed than the more basic bburago - i'm not suggesting this is even in the same universe as a Looksmart, but it maintains the thread for the time being ;)

Although I have a visceral dislike for the 1:1, that is seriously not bad for a Bb. They missed the point of why the sidewalls have stripes, but at least they tried! Probably a super cheap model, so looks like a great VFM.

Maybe they couldn't reproduce them as per the original without paying licensing fees to Pirelli for the use of their logos ?

Oof, if that's the case I wonder how they can afford to make models of racecars w/ all their sponsor decals. Unless Pirelli charges more than all the others combined :?
