What Ian said
Andy

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

Mclaren is an awesome car and a great model. SVR looks right in BRG; it is British after all!

I know this will be marmite to many members, but I have a growing collection of baby blue/gulf blue cars in my collection and this IXO Rolls Royce Ghost is my first Roller and picked up for a decent price (probably because of the colour  ). I would say this is a "Knightsbridge/Harrods in the Summer" colour......

And, the Rolls is certainly eye-catching! 8-)

Think i paid less than £40 for the Kyosho Aston. Mclaren was £18 and great value to my eyes.

Maclaren M6B GT looks nice and as it's Premium X probably a good price too. Two weeks ago when I was at the McLaren Tech Centre (no photography allowed) I was privileged to meet and indeed shown around the museum, racing dept and production assembly plant by Amanda McLaren. She is a McLaren Brand Ambassador and her father was the late Bruce McLaren. She told me how she was invited to drive the M6B GT at Goodwood a couple of years back and how it's worlds apart from modern day Macs.

And if Julio reads this, I met Frank Stephenson while heading back to Reception!

I'm impressed with that Premium X McLaren M6B.

There was a mean looking, black M6B entered at Le Mans in 1981, but it was crashed in practice and never started the race. Spark announced it in their 2012 catalogue, but 4 years later we're still waiting. Wonder if Premium X will do it ?

Sounds like a fair deal. Insured postage is an extra £65....

I think this might be the one you referred to. Very impressive piece of kit and I can agree with Amanda in that if I was after a McLaren this would be the one!
