I'm not particularly fond of that Peugeot as a 1:1, but its charm as a model is unquestionable! ;)

Well done, David!

I have the closed version and like this a lot too. The simple shape lends itself well to a simple model.

Like the Peugeot David and the model captures the simplicity of the design.

The 203 was a tough old car and won the 1953 Redex Around Australia Trial - a 10,500km torture test.

This and P140 are still missing from my Italian Mag series and will be remedied soon. On P132 Smoke blue is an interesting and different colour.

Nice model. Was that a proto for the Diablo or a study for its successor?

That's an attractive model, in an odd sort of way! ;)

This was Gandini's proposal for the Countach successor. But when Chrysler bought Lamborghini, they were not impressed. So they decided to "redesign" it in the U.S. (??!?), resulting in the Diablo. This design was slightly modified, and produced as de Cizeta Moroder.

Kidding aside, the Tecno is better all round but only by margins. If I hadn't landed it for £30 I would have been happy to keep the PW in my collection.

If you like Masers watch this space.

That is beautiful, but I'd be more than happy with the PW.

I have that PW and it's a good one, but I've never been happy with the poor fitment of the grille with the gaps around the edges. Could use new wipers, too.

Overall the Granni is good except for (fly poo out the pepper time) :-
Grill fit
W/screen frame too heavy
Wipers are blobs
Wheels needed replacing
S/wheel is cruder
Front seats are too thin
Paintwork is satin rather than gloss
Solid intake on bonnet

However, the droop of the Tecno's rear is totally wrong. Pity.
