A (very) small racing car collection

Post by Ralf B. » Sat Jul 04, 2015 11:08 am

Hello everybody,

I joined the forum about one week ago and my main theme is "U.S. cars of the 30s and 40s" but in some cases
in cannot resist breaking my own rule:
Image
Three Ford Galaxies by SMTS of England, may be they will soon have to share the shelf with some Torinos by Spark...

From the 20s:
Image
Miller Racers by SMTS, very nicely detailed but difficulty to build, so I built one and bought three factory builts.

From the 30s (racing related):

1935 Ford Indy Pace Cars, made by Minimarque

Cheers
Ralf

I like the Galaxies a lot. The recent Spark releases are tempting me to break my rules as well.

Nice collection, especially as they aren't models you see everyday.

I used to own an SMTS Alfa Romeo Zagato. It was only a small car, but the model had the weight of a brick. I can only imagine the weight of the Ford Galaxies......you wouldn't want to put too many on the same glass shelf !

You have not shown a car here that I would not love to have in my collection.

The pace cars look very nice. I didn't think they used such a thing that long ago.

The Galaxies and Millers are all excellent. Good looking, interesting and not something seen very often.

Nice indeed! If your going to break rules, these were good selections to do it with!
