Eddie Stobart

Postby standfree93 » Sun Jul 11, 2010 7:57 am

Well, this morning I decided to go up into the attic and rake through a heap of crates containing a lot of old models.

And, I came across these, this isn't even half of my Eddie Stobart collection, got a heap more, including the cabs and trailers, but here is a few of them;

Always a popular theme, this one. Smart looking trucks in a great colour scheme. Saw a TV program about the company and the current managers/directors. Didn't realise how much it had needed turning around a few years back. Nowadays, they seemed to have a pretty good time in between the serious business.

Eddie Stobart never owned a truck !!!!
They were all leased for specific contracts.
He probably made more money out of franchise model deals !!
Cheers,
David

I have a Eddie Stobart set somewhere. It's in a cupboard upstairs in a box and I think it has 2 lorries a forklift truck and a small truck in it.
