2004 Dodge Durango by Spark

2004 Dodge Durango by Spark

I have to admit I was a bit surprised when I first saw this in a diecast, and even more surprised when Spark did it. They also do a Dodge Magnum, which is very, very nice (and big, just like the car), that I am also considering purchasing. This SUV is done very nicely, and appears to be pretty accurate too. The construction is excellent, and the stand/acrylic case that come with it are also above average. I don't know if this is the norm for Spark (though it would not surprise me), but it is a nice touch.

And this is a stock photo of the Magnum that I had referred to as well. Having seen this piece in person, I can tell you that it is a very nice piece!

Not really my cup of tea - either model - however, when Spark do it right, they are very, very good - the quality control issues can be a problem though...

Ric, if you're interested, Norev do a 300C - it would complement the Magnum:

Ric, I never realized how much the Durango looks like a minivan than in your first pic. :D

The models are quite nice! (as well they should be) I think I favor the Magnum. What would be neat is if someone did the Magnum with the Chrysler 100 front end like they sell in Europe.

The Durango fits your collection quite well.

Wow! That Magnum looks really cool! Isn't there a 1:43 Magnum by Norev?

;)

Not sure, but it would not be surprising.
